Welcome!
We hope you feel welcome amongst us!
Maryborough Christian Fellowship meets at The Hope & Anchor, a name chosen in keeping with Maryborough's redeveloped Wharf Street precinct.
We are closely connected with 25 similar churches across Australia, plus many others overseas.
Restoration: The Christian Voyage
The Christian faith is a life-long journey and the heartland and destination of the Christian voyage is "restoration".
God desires each person to be restored to the predestination He has for them, amongst the fellow believers of Christ.
How can we navigate the troubled straits, uncharted territories and rocky outcrops of life?
God's word is the beacon which lights up our path - we need to hear His word in the context of fellow believers.
Committed relationship amongst the brethren of Christ is the safe harbour, where we find asure hope and anchor for our souls,
as we journey together towards restoration.
This is the hope which we have found - and this is the anchor which we all need.

Music and Worship
Singing and music is a natural part of our life together, as we express personal devotion and collective harmony to the Lord.
Each Sunday morning, songs will be led by a host and the church orchestra.
A time of spontaneous praise and worship may follow, which might be new to some in attendance.
This 'unplanned' communication of songs or Scripture verses allows God the Holy Spirit to speak through those whom He leads, to bring the message that God has for us.
Communion
As in many Christian churches, bread and wine will be given to the congregation during the service.
According to the New Testament, these are the means of signifying our participation in the one universal church, the 'body of Christ'.
We have no restricted membership and we invite anyone who believes in Christ to partake of the communion elements with us.
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.”
-Hebrews 6:19
